All we can say here at Hitstreet is WOW! What a great night. The talented musicians that took part in the finals of the Talent Search 2007 were to say at least, INCREDIBLE! Everyone came with their A game and delivered stellar performances. We continue to be blown away by the talent we have found here. The place was packed with fans who love all different styles of music and showed great appreciation for every act. Eight acts took the stage with six guaranteed to win a positions in the contest. However at the last minute the Judges decided to add two special consolation prizes meaning every act was a winner. CONGRATULATION TO ALL! Over $31,000 in prizes were presented. Here is the break down. 1st place 1 (5) song fully produced and mastered EP at HitStreet Records. 1 Year, Artist opt out, management Contract which includes shopping to labels both Major and Indie, Licensing Firms, Publishing Firms, Radio Stations and Booking Agents. (Valued at $17,500) 2nd Place 1 (3) song fully produced and mastered Demo at HitStreet Records. 6 Month, Artist opt out, management Contract which includes shopping to labels both Major and Indie, Licensing Firms, Publishing Firms, Radio Stations and Booking Agents. (Valued at $10,500) 3rd Place 1 Song fully produced and mastered at HitStreet Records. (Valued at $2,500) 4th, 5th and 6th Place Each received the new ZOOM H4 recording system. Valued at $499. There were also 2 Consolation prizes awarded each receiving 1 Song fully produced and mastered at HitStreet Records. We have made plans to create a compilation CD of 12 of the acts that took part in the event, which means some acts will be recording for the CD project even though they did not place in the finals. Keep checking back to find out who will be on the CD. Also be on the look out for Hitstreet Records Talent Search 2007 merchandise to be available soon. All proceeds go to the musicians.

Michael and Cass Schetttler Hi to all who took part in the Hitstreet Records Talent Search 2007 On behalf of Cass and Myself, and our partner, John Micheal, it has been a privilege to have taken part in this event. As owners of HitStreet Records/Shortler Studios, we look forward to continuing the community that has started here. First and foremost let us please emphasize the fact that there are NO LOSERS in this event. For all of us, it is THE MUSIC we all love to create and play that binds us together. We feel honored to have met each and every one of you. The music was fantastic and we have received many comments from people who attended the shows, saying how much they enjoyed your music. This is the REAL compliment, the one you get from your fans, and we agree with them, we are your fans now also. This coming year marks the 4th anniversary of HitStreet Records/Shortler Studios and is also the year we will be starting construction on our new studio, which has been our dream from the beginning. We want all of our new friends to be the first to record and play in that facility and we will keep you informed of it's progress. Please feel free to contact us.
