Rules and Regulations:
Only one entry per Act. No refunds for cancellations. The promoter reserves the right to accept or reject entries at their absolute discretion.

Acts are, but not limited to, bands, singer/songwriters, karaoke vocalists and instrumental soloists. We are looking for the best of the best to record, produce, manage and promote to the world.

All acts under the age of 21 will be able to perform before 9pm, and will need to leave the premises by 9pm.

Acts must not be currently signed to a record company, management deal or developmental deal.

Each Act will be given a set of up to 30 minutes at Artist's Discretion to perform. Artist will be given 15 minute tear down and set up. Acts that take longer will be penalized in their judging.

Judging will be based on Musicianship, Stage presence and Crowd Reaction. Judges will be from HitStreet Records.

PA system, microphones, drums and sound engineer will be provided by HitStreet Records. Acts are required to provide all their own instruments, back line equipment ie, amps, keyboards, guitars etc. Karaoke singers are required to supply their own music.

Acts must be available to play at designated dates anytime between the start and final dates. The Act must also be available to perform at the Final in September of 2007.

Acts are to be available for promotional commitments as required, to be arranged from time to time.

The promoter accepts no responsibility for incomplete entries, or those lost or delayed for any technical or other reason. Acts will be informed by the Promoter after entering of their acceptance or ineligibility of their performance.

The Act agrees to allow the Promoter to record, film and/or photograph the performance(s) of the band. The Promoter owns the copyright in these recordings and images.

At all times during the competition, & subsequent promotion of the competition, the Act agrees to act in a professional manner that supports and reaffirms the reputation of the Promoter and Sponsoring Companies, ie Clear Channel, Old Matthews, SixStrung Publishing and HitStreet Records. To this end the Promoter reserves the right to cancel any band where this reputation is under threat by actions from any band member or associate.

Prizes are non-transferable.
The Winning acts from each night will be announced at the conclusion of the night's event. Judge's decisions are final. The winning Acts will receive further details following their win regarding placement in the Finals.

The Promoter reserves the right to terminate or temporarily suspend the competition in the event of technical difficulties that might compromise the integrity of the event. Neither the Promoter, Label or Venue accept any responsibility for personal injury to any acts or members therein by but not limited to fire, shock, acts of God or otherwise uncontrollable circumstances.

The terms and conditions are governed by Wa Law and are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Wa Courts.

All rules and regulations are subject to change at the sole discretion of HitStreet Records or Promoter.

By entering the event, all participants are deemed to have accepted these terms and conditions. If under the age of 18, parent or guardian signature is required for every participant.
